Nestled in the heart of Pennsylvania’s scenic Lehigh Valley, Flight Line Sport Horses is dedicated to the breeding, development, and competition of elite hunter/jumper sport horses. Meet owner and founder of Flight Line Sport Horses, Emily Maniscalco:
Emily’s childhood was spent on her family’s small country airfield, where she developed a passion for adventure. Introduced to horses at the age of 4, Emily chose to pursue her adventures on horseback rather than in the air. During her junior years, she competed on the northeast hunter/jumper circuit, discovering a particular passion for developing young horses. Emily continued her education at Penn State, where she also competed on the equestrian team. During this time, she gained valuable experience assisting at Carousel Farm under the mentorship of Lizzy Traband and Joe Fargis.
After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a minor in Equine Science, Emily returned to a professional aviation career. Shortly thereafter, she founded Flight Line Sport Horses, a tribute to her roots.
Today, Emily dedicates herself to the care and training of her horses, guided by her values of integrity, consistency, and a deep understanding of each horse’s unique needs and abilities. Emily runs a boutique KWPN breeding program with the renowned stallion, VDL Laroche, and specializes in young and green horses’ development.
